Now I don't know about you, but I get a little tired of some women saying, "Every guy I meet tries to sleep with me". or "Why can't I go out in this tight clingy dress with a pound of makeup on without someone hitting on me?".
Really? Well, unless you are Scarlett Johansson or a lottery winner, it's because of the signals you are sending out when you do go out. And today, I'm going to tell you three of them...Let's begin...
Really? Well, unless you are Scarlett Johansson or a lottery winner, it's because of the signals you are sending out when you do go out. And today, I'm going to tell you three of them...Let's begin...
Reason #1 - You Crave Attention
It doesn't matter what the guy looks like or is even talking about because all you know is that he is giving you attention. And we know how much you thrive on that.
He could be saying some of anything: - "Girl you look good enough to eat"
- "Where you're man at?"
- "Let me holla at you for a second"
Now you and I both know, men that say these things don't know the first thing about who you are or what motivates you in life and honestly they don't care. But, they will act like they care all day long just as long as you feed into whatever they are selling.
They are playing on the obvious fact that you crave attention because honestly, who responds to "Let me holla at you for a second"? What the hell could he have to talk about that he only needs one second to talk about it? Can't be that important.
You know what I think? I think he's saying that just to get a better look at you up close. He wants to see all those curves and long hours you spent in the mirror getting ready to go out and act like you didn't want the attention.
And now there you are standing in front of him thinking, "Why can't I just go out without every guy I meet trying to have sex?". Hmmm.. I wonder why?

Reason #2 -Your Appearance Is Your Best Quality
There's nothing worse than someone handing you a beautifully wrapped gift with a $2 present tossed inside. You know what I'm talking about. The gift you got at Christmas that looked like everything you wanted, but when you ripped it open you immediately wanted to toss it out the freakin window.
Why is that? I mean the gift looked so good in the beginning, you were all too happy to open it. You could barely contain your anticipation and excitement. What's different now that you opened the gift and found out that the box was worth more than what was inside?
Now that you remember that feeling, let's look at your appearance. Are you a beautifully wrapped package with a $2 present inside? Or are you an interestingly wrapped package with a bounty of priceless conversations, opinions and passions for life?
This one is easy. If you put more into the way you look over what's between your ears, the men you meet will only want one thing. Because that's all that's there, that's all you allow them to see. But, if you put more effort and energy into what's inside of you, the wrapping on your package will just be a bonus and not the main event;)

Reason #3 - You Don't Know How To Say "No"
I don't know why saying, "No" is like lifting a 2-Ton truck for some people. Are we that deprived of attention that we say "Yes" to everything that gets thrown our way? I sure hope not.
The word "No" is more than just a word. It's a statement, a fence..a boundary. Without the word "No" in your vocabulary, you are subject to more B.S than you can handle.
I don't care if it's been 2 years since you had sex, say "No" if the shit doesn't feel right. Just because some cute guy comes out of the freakin woodwork and shows you a little bit of attention that doesn't mean you have to sleep with him.
I mean, people do talk to one another without sex. This is a reality. It's completely fine to enjoy one's conversation without stripping down butt-naked and letting a man do whatever the hell he wants.
Now I know any guy reading this is probably like, "Jamaal, Shut the Hell Up"..lol But I'm not writing this for them, I'm writing this for you. I want you to know that the word, " No" is one of your biggest assets and it should be used without discretion.
If you tell a guy "No" and he persists over days, weeks or even months, then you can begin to take him serious about some of the things he says. But if you tell him "No" out of the gate and he flips out or drops you like a bad habit, well, I guess we know what he wanted.
