If you're like most people, you've probably thought that having more money would solve all the problems in your relationship at one time or another.
You've probably said things like, "If we had more money, we would be so happy". Am I right?
Well, while even though money can relieve financial tension, there are some things that no amount of money will change in your relationship.
I bet you already know what at least 2 of these are, but just in case... Here's a reminder.

Well, while even though money can relieve financial tension, there are some things that no amount of money will change in your relationship.
I bet you already know what at least 2 of these are, but just in case... Here's a reminder.
Number #1 Money Can't Buy You Love
Do you know why this is the first one on the list? I'll tell you why "Because It's So True!"
No matter how much money anyone has, there are things that occur between two people in a relationship that money can't revive or create.
Money does not wake up in the middle of the night and check to see if you're still breathing. Money won't drive 300 miles up the highway just to see you smile. Nor will money kiss you so softly that you forget what planet you're on..lol
These are things that only a burning love between two people can provide. So remember this next time you or someone you love says, "If we only had more money".

Number #2 Money Can't Replace Time
Time if you didn't know is your most valuable resource.
The time we have on this earth is given at the start and when it runs out..it's out.
Money on the other hand is something that can be replaced a million times over and still have no value until you need or want to buy something.
The time you spend building a relationship is priceless because that time and those precious moments are nonrefundable. There is no way to gain back 3 months or ten years of your life after it is spent with someone.
This is the reason why it is always good practice to invest your time in a worthwhile relationship and not a "Man of The Moment".

Number #3 Money Can't Repair A Broken Heart
Do you remember when you were little and your parents would try to make up for their mistakes by buying you a gift? Like, if dad forgot to pick you up at school and then the next day he just "randomly" takes you out for ice cream.
I'm sure you've experienced something similar if not exact, but you get the point. People try to bribe the emotions of others with meaningless gifts or acts. They do it in relationships all of the time.
I don't know about you, but there's no way a red porsche would make up for someone cheating on me.
And I know there's no way, being thrown a shopping spree would make me forget how ugly someone I was dating spoke to me.
What about you? Wouldn't you rather someone just own up and apologize for the wrongs they have done? Wouldn't you rather hear honest words coming out of their mouth with matching actions showing that they are sincere and remorseful for what they've done?
So yeah, money will do a lot of things, but it can't repair a broken heart.

Number #4 Money Can't Keep You Warm At Night
If you're like me, you probably can't remember a time you curled up next to a big pile of $100 dollar bills and felt loved.
Or maybe you have, but if your like most of us, you haven't. This is because money has no soul. Money has no arms and money is not loyal. Money will not hug you back and money will not make you a better person.
I know it sounds like I'm hard on money, but it's the truth. Money is no replacement for a solid relationship built on good communication, trust and consistency. No matter how hard it tries to be.
Now, let me ask you this question: If you had to choose between having a million dollars placed in your checking account everyday for the next 30 years or finding your soulmate and being more than satisfied in love and family for the rest of your life...What would you choose?
If you ask me, I'll take the soulmate any day of the week. Because after all, money is replaceable, but being in love with someone that loves you back is priceless.
