When a man finds a woman that he is interested in dating, he will ask her a series of questions.
The questions will seem harmless and playful at first, but as aimless as they seem, they are not without intent.
You, as a woman have heard these questions multiple times..Can you guess what they are?

Question 1: Are You Seeing Anyone?
When a man asks you if you are single or "seeing anyone", he's trying to judge the competition.
He wants to know what the odds are of him having a successful chance of claiming you for himself.
He wants to know if there's some larger, stronger male out of sight that he should be worried about before he pursues you as a mate.
I know this sounds a bit like National Geographic..lol, but we are all animals. Men are territorial, as are women and both of us like to know if there are any threats lurking in the shadows.
Now, based on your answer, he will dig deeper to understand the connections of your relationship or he'll move on to another question like..

Question 2: Do You Have Any Children?
Believe it or not, this question is just as important to the men as it is to women. But, do you know why?
Well, when a man asks a woman if she has kids, he's checking to see what type of support he will need to provide.
If a woman has children, his time spent with her will not solely be based on his own companionship needs, but shared amongst her little ones. Also, if a woman has children this means that another male or males have been or currently are in the picture.
This information may deter a young man that is looking to start his own family, but at the same time it can seem very appealing to a more mature male that is ready to settle down.
But, don't think that a man won't have second guesses about a woman that is without children either.
The main question is "Why". How is it possible for this beautiful woman to not have kids? Especially, if she is well into her "child-bearing years". A whole slew of questions can arise, but I'm sure you can fill in the blanks.
So don't think that, "Do you have any kids" is just a question men throw around to make conversation.

Question 3: Would You Like To Go Out Sometime?
You've heard this question several times over I'm sure.
When you agree, this means,"Yes, I would like to spend some time with you away from the pack".
When you disagree this means, "I don't feel comfortable enough around you to put myself in such a vulnerable position".
There are several reasons for either any number of responses: boyfriends, mutual attraction..etc
But his intent remains constant, "Would you like to go out with me?" translates to: "I like you and I want to spend sometime alone with you. Do you trust me enough to be vulnerable?"

Question 4: What Kinds Of Things Do You Like To Do?
Why does he want to know this? Can you guess?
It's because he wants to know how you two would be spending your time, if you should decide to date him. It's all apart of the "dating ritual"..lol (I really need to stop watching NatGeo)
If you're interests sync up in areas that make the most sense to him, it's a go, but if not..it's a "No".
So don't be afraid to be honest about you're interests because if you lie and say you like hockey, don't be surprised when you're 3rd date is a hockey game 0_o.

Question 5: Why Are You Single?
Now this one can throw you for a loop because you have to ask yourself, "Why am I single?".
To answer this question effectively, you will need to know what you want out of life and what you want out of a relationship.
If you give him some general, "Because I haven't met the right man" then you will continue to be single unless...he likes a challenge.
But if you tell him your Why with definition, he will do one of 3 things:

But if you tell him your Why with definition, he will do one of 3 things:
- Decide that this opportunity is not the right fit
- Step up to the plate and claim his woman
- Try to manipulate you by pretending to be just what you asked for
So How Many Did You Get Right?
I dare you to tell me that you haven't heard any of these questions from a man. Even better yet, I dare you to say how many of these questions you heard in the comments below. ^_^
