The Pros and Cons Of Being Single

  Being single doesn't mean your life is over, it just means you have more time to focus on what's important to you.  Think about it.  How many times have you wanted to pursue some goal or do something, but babe didn't want to so you didn't?  Too many times to count for most of us, but others may disagree and say that being single is the pits.  

  Well, that may be true for some, but for the most part, being single provides you time to figure out what you really want and don't want in life.  So if you're single, you'll appreciate this one and if you're not, well then you may learn something about the other-side of the world..lol  The world of endless choice... 

  Now you might be saying, "Jamaal,what do you mean by endless choice?".  Just think about it when your single, you can do whatever you want with whoever you want however you want.  When your in a relationship, you gotta check your moral compass just about every other step.  Good times, huh? 

 Checking in every 5 minutes?  Explaining the reasons that your pissed off or too happy?  Um, how about "No Thanks".  Well anyway, I've listed a few common pros and cons of single-hood, Enjoy.

When Your Single You Get Booty Calls

So there you are minding your own business, lounging around in your undies and "BAAM" the phone goes off!  Who could it be?  Wouldn't you know, it's that office hottie wanting to get together for a little late-night naughty.  What do you do?

  Well, since your single you can do whatever the hell you want to do..lol  Unless, you just wish it was just that one special person you've been dating for 2 years telling you that they love you.

When Your Dating, You Can't Disappear For Days At A Time

She wants to party, but he's got her by the heels..lol

  Gone are the days of just getting up on a Saturday morning and driving to NY for a weekend of unfiltered fun.  Why?  Because your in a relationship silly..lol  

  There's no just get up and leave anytime you feel like it, you have to check in.  You've gotta see if babe wants to go, unless you want attitude for breakfast, lunch and dinner... for three weeks straight!

  You see, this is another example of why being single rocks!  In a relationship, you have to think about the other person in just about everything you do.  When you're single, you only need to think about you and what makes you happy. 

 You're not limited to the happiness or obligations of others, you are free to roam when and where ever you please.  So enjoy your freedom while you can.  There's plenty of time for "babe" later.

When Your Single, You Get The Whole Damn Bed

  Ah yes, that wonderful, blissful sleep you get when you don't have the Snoring Giant farting in the bed or the Cackling Cutie rambling in your ear.  It's like they know you're trying to sleep and they get louder and louder and LOUDER..lol  

  But, one of the downs about having that Big ol bed all to yourself is that it can get lonely.  It can be cold, creepy even.  It can seem like the whole world has someone special except you.  Maybe his snoring wasn't so bad or maybe her incessant  rambling made it easier for you to fall asleep...?

If you enjoy your rest, you just might like being single;)

When Your Single You Don't Get To Watch "Your" Favorite Shows

It's a shame, you won't even get so see him land..smh

  Oh, you weren't planning to kick back and watch the X-Games were you?  No, you couldn't have been trying to do that because "babe" wants to watch American Idol at 7.  

  Unless, you are single and there is no "babe".  If this is the case, you can watch "Charmed" reruns until your eyes bleed and no one can say anything about it...lol.  Ah,the life of the single...

  So now, how we feeling out there, huh?  Is being single really the pits?  Is it that bad having tons of free time and the freedom to go and do as you please?  Or are you one of these folks that need to have someone keeping you warm at night?  I look at it like this, relationships have their purpose just like being single has it's own rhyme and reason.  You have to learn to appreciate the single moments just as much as you appreciate the relationships.  Either way...the choice is yours.  Ta-ta for now =)
